COSMOLEDO ATOLL FLY FISHING REPORT | 15 – 22 FEB 2024
The tide was mostly centered around the neap tides after the February new moon. The plastid water movements created prime conditions in the lagoon, perfect for poling on our sand and grass flats.
Mike Bonney was able to bag himself a huge Cosmoledo bonefish, measuring in at 72 cm, an outstanding-sized bone! Congratulations, Mike, on this incredible bonefish!
Dennis Laptev managed an 80 cm and an 83 cm GT. These were some of his best GTs taken to hand for Dennis over the time he was there. Dennis went on to catch numerous GTs throughout his week on Cosmoledo.
Paul Eijpe was ecstatic to finally tick the Giant trevally off his bucket list on the flats of Cosmoledo! By the end of the week, Paul had added a further 12 GT to his tally.
Jan Borghuis, Paul’s boat partner, also managed some good fish over the week on their very productive boat. Congratulations, gentlemen, on their great fishing!
Overall, it was a successful week, with many fish seen and caught. Thanks to all the guests who joined us this week. We look forward to having you guys back here!
