COSMOLEDO ATOLL FLY FISHING REPORT | 14 – 21 MAR 2024
This week on Cosmoledo saw the second neap tides of the month of March. Water movement at the beginning of the week was still strong from the previous spring tide but, slowly tapered off into full neap tides towards the end of the week.
The weather at the beginning of the week was tough, with a couple of overcast days, cloud cover, and rain. This, however, cleaned up nicely in the latter half of the week, resulting in bright skies and warmer water.
Kent Lindvall caught his first Giant trevally this week and caught an impressive 101 cm GT the very next day! Congratulations, Kent, on landing a beautiful fish.
William Kirkpatrick caught 11 GTs this week. Congratulations to William on some outstanding fishing!
Andrew Uhr was able to land his very first Giant trevally this week! Congratulations Andrew.
Some good bonefish were caught over the week by a couple of the anglers, and some very close calls on some triggers.
We had a great week with our guest and celebrating their catches. We hope to have you all back with us again in the near future.
